NWEA Testing will take place at NJSHS on Tuesday, October 26 for 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th grades. All 9th graders will visit the CTE Center in Columbia and then do some hiking. They should wear appropriate shoes to hike in. Seniors will choose between the Senior Workshop from Guidance about College Applications or go to the CTE Center all day. Testing will start at 8:06 and go most of the day. We will end the day by going to Period 7. We will provide breaks, snacks, and lunch will be served as usual. This is the state mandated testing that we are required to do. Please make sure your child attends school on this day, gets a good night sleep and eats breakfast. PLAYOFFS AND OTHER SPORTS INFORMATION

Jr High Volleyball games on October 14th and 18th have been cancelled.
On November 3rd, the Jr High Volleyball team will host Cutler and Fort O'Brien in a Round Robin. Games will start at 4.
These Narraguagus Jr/Sr High School students volunteered at this year’s Turkey-A-Thon on Friday, October 8th and helped to raise over one thousand dollars. Maybe more importantly, they got the 4 Corners patrons dancing.
REMINDER: There is NO school on Monday, October 11th and Tuesday, October 12th.
HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS:
The volleyball game scheduled for tonight, Friday, October 8th is varsity only and starts at 4:30 under the dome. The girls' home soccer game starts at 4:00.
On Saturday, October 9th both boys' and girls' high school soccer teams will play against Sumner at Peninsula School in Prospect Harbor. Girls play at 11:00. Boys play at 12:45.
The Cross Country team travels to Orono tomorrow, October 9th to race at noon.

The jr high volleyball game scheduled for tonight, Thursday, September 30th has been cancelled. Monday's (10/4) game has also been cancelled.
The girls' high school soccer team has rescheduled a game. They will now be playing at Washington Academy on October 15th at 4:00. Bus will leave at 2:30.

The agenda is still being worked on but the 1st agenda item will be election of PTSG officers: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasure. Nominations will be accepted at the meeting and then there will be a vote by position. We can discuss voting on the zoom call prior to voting 😁 Official position descriptions are available if you would like to read them but here is a quick overview:
Chair - Works with Mrs. Day to develop meeting agendas, is responsible for creating the meeting agenda and leading the meetings, oversee projects/activities for both teachers and students with assistance from members of the PTSG.
Vice Chair - assists the Chair with needed projects or tasks and will be the back up for the Chair if the Chair is unavailable for meetings
Secretary - to take notes at the meetings and publish them to our PTSG Facebook page and other places if needed.
Treasure - to record all incoming money raised from fundraisers or donations, accept requests for reimbursement from individual for any approved purchases by group members for activities or teacher needs, and to work closely with the district Accountant at the Superintendent's office as this is where all funds will be deposited and recorded.
This is a very team orientated, fun and supportive group. If you think you would like to have one of these positions please let a member know and if you are not sure, please join the meeting to learn more.

Girls' soccer game for Sept 23rd has been postponed. The time for the boys' soccer game on Sept 27th has been changed to 3:30. The golf match scheduled for Sept 25th has been moved to Wednesday, Sept 29th. Start time is 11:00. The bus will leave at 7:30am.
