HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CHANGES LADY KNIGHTS - The games on Friday, December 10th will now be played at 3 and 4:30. The varsity team will play first. KNIGHTS - On Saturday, December 11th the games at WA will be played at 2 and 3:30. The bus will leave at 12:30.

Due to the forecast of snow, all afternoon activities, practices and the National Honor Society and National Jr Honor Society Induction are cancelled for this evening.

COVID 19 VACCINE CLINIC 12/21/2021 MSAD 37 to host a second Covid-19 vaccination clinic at Harrington Elementary School from 9-4. This clinic is offered to all interested individuals ages 5 and +. First & second doses, as well as booster shots will be available for those eligible. For a booster, you must be 18 and older, have been 6 months past your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or 2 months since the J&J vaccine. Please note: If this is your second dose, you will still need to sign and return a second consent form by Monday 12/13. Parents, please check the appropriate box to indicate whether or not you want to be present during your child’s vaccination, otherwise they cannot be vaccinated. Transportation will be provided to the students of MSAD 37. Please let your child’s school know what form of transportation you would like so that we can arrange pick-up as needed. The National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society induction will be held tomorrow, December 8, at 6pm in the cafeteria. Join us in welcoming our new inductees.

Thank you to everyone who made the "Knight of Champions" such a success. It was great to see all the past players on the court and in the stands. Tiffany Strout, what a great idea! Your willingness to help in whatever way is truly appreciated. Thank you to Kandi Robertson for helping secure sponsors. Thank you to Holly Fraser, Denise Curtis and the current basketball teams for the amazing raffle baskets. Thank you for all the amazing support from our community for sponsoring the t-shirts, contributing to the raffles, purchasing tickets and biding on our buoy auction. The buoys were all done by local artists and they were truly a work of art. Thank you for taking the time to create these and to Jen Kearns for her help with this. Outstanding work by Peter Joyce being our auctioneer, Dawn Stubbs for creating the online auction and the programs, and for all the people who contributed to the concessions and/or worked concessions. So many people had a part in making this night so successful. The generosity that this community continues to show on a daily basis is truly astounding.

Recently a group of student took part in the Maine Outdoor School. They traveled to the Taft Point Reserve in Gouldsboro for a morning of hiking and exploring.

November 16, 2021 ATTENTION MSAD 37 FAMILIES: Our district will be partnering with Maine Public Health Nursing to host a Covid-19 vaccination clinic on November 30th at Harrington Elementary School from 9am - 4pm. The second dose clinic will be held on December 21st at the same time and place. Only individuals with a completed consent will be vaccinated. If you do not want your child vaccinated, please disregard this notice. This clinic is offered to all staff, students and their families. Interested students ages 5-18 will receive the Pfizer vaccine series. For all of those over the age of 18, Pfizer, Moderna and J&J will be available as well as booster shots for those who need them. If you would like a booster, please bring your Covid vaccination card with you. To be eligible for a booster, you will need to have been 6 months past your last dose of vaccine, or 2 months if you received the J&J. To be sure we have enough vaccine available for everyone, please notify your child’s school ASAP so that we can get an estimate for the clinic. Please also fill out the attached consent form, review the EUA fact sheets (link will be posted) and then return to school by Monday, November 22nd. NJSHS will be remote tomorrow and following the regular bell schedule with Google meets for classes. Teachers will be conducting class each period and taking attendance. The schedule is attached for reference.

Wednesday, November 10th and Friday, November 12th will be Early Release Days. Thursday is Veteran's Day and there is no school.

Picture Retake Day is tomorrow, November 3rd.

Friday, October 29th is an Early Release Day.

The Lady Knights will take on GSA in a semi-final game in Blue Hill on Thursday night at 5pm. Come on out and cheer them on to victory!

NWEA Testing will take place at NJSHS on Tuesday, October 26 for 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th grades. All 9th graders will visit the CTE Center in Columbia and then do some hiking. They should wear appropriate shoes to hike in. Seniors will choose between the Senior Workshop from Guidance about College Applications or go to the CTE Center all day. Testing will start at 8:06 and go most of the day. We will end the day by going to Period 7. We will provide breaks, snacks, and lunch will be served as usual. This is the state mandated testing that we are required to do. Please make sure your child attends school on this day, gets a good night sleep and eats breakfast.
