Attached to this letter are your child’s Maine Through Year Assessment score information, which was administered in the Spring of 2024. These scores have just recently been released to schools, hence the late notification.

While test scores are just one part of your child's overall learning, they provide valuable information that can help us support your child and enhance our curriculum planning. Additionally, these scores play a role in determining our school's Tier status.

Included with this letter, you will find an explanation from the Maine Department of Education about the testing format, which we hope you find helpful.

Looking ahead, please note that fall testing for grades 3-6 will take place during the week of September 30 and October 7, 2024. We encourage all students to come to school well-rested, have a nutritious breakfast, and be prepared to give their best effort on the assessments.
